Cincinnati Trip (Part 1)

We made it to Cincinnati on Monday night! We were able to walk in and surprise my sister and her family. They thought we were coming in the following week. All were very surprised.

Unfortunately, Josh's Grandma Ginnie had a stroke Sunday and was at the hospital. So, as soon as we drove in we dropped Whit off at my parents house and went straight to the hospital to visit her. Josh was able to read to her and pray with her. She is a remarkable woman. She has since moved back to where she was living with around the clock care, but there is still bleeding in her brain and at age 98 surgery or medical treatment are not really options. It is truly a blessing that this trip was planned so we were able to spend time with her in her final days. We love her and are so grateful for the role she has played in our family.
