I have to take the opportunity today to say THANK YOU to my wonderful, incredibly patient and loving Dad. He has always been there for me...like when I ran out of gas in high school, or got lost driving back from Nashville, or to help me move to the various parts of the country/world I decided to try. He has constantly supported me and all of my bright ideas and crazy adventures, even when he knew they weren't so bright. He gave me the freedom to explore the world, but the compassion and patience to always welcome me home with open arms. There is nothing he wouldn't have done for me growing up and there is nothing he wouldn't do for me now, and for that I will always be grateful.
More importantly, I appreciate his integrity and his character. He is honest, decent and trustworthy and has set such a great example for his kids, friends and all who know him.
Most importantly, he has faithfully loved my mom and displayed to our family what a committed and sacrificial husband looks like!
So Dad, Happy Father's Day and thanks for being the world's best dad.
I am forever grateful!
