So, I have never really decorated a room from scratch which is why I am taking this job so seriously. It has been so fun finding the furniture, picking out the bedding, and all that goes into decorating a nursery. I am so grateful I have the opportunity to do this now. Below are some pictures of the nursery in the making. I will be sure to post a final picture when it all is in place with Baby D to complete the look!

The Bedding (top is bumper, middle is sheet and bottom is dust ruffle) - many thanks to Dana at Daisy Baby in Bethesda for helping me put this together...she is so talented! There are thousands and thousands of fabrics to choose from and she found the perfect combination to go with the lampshade.

Ali, I LOVE it all! Can't wait to see the finished room. The crib and dresser are perfect, the bedding is adorable and I think it is great you are planning it around the lampshade you liked and thought of for your baby. Can't wait for Baby D to get here. :)
